Are you having to replace your impeller in your Onan generator too frequently? Are you fed up trying to find the rubber pieces of the impeller which block your cooler? Here is a low cost solution we put in place 4 years ago and is still working strong.
Onan Generator, we threw away the Raw Water Pump and Impeller!

This setup makes perfect sense. It seems to me that you could do this with the main engines as well but setting up redundant pumps so that you could quickly switch in a pinch. Any idea why the impellers are any better in the electric pumps?
